Well, Shawn Michaels is my favourite wrestler and he has many great matches. Today, I start with a new series, HBK's top 5 matches. Now, with the no. 5 top match of his illustrious career.

NUMBER 5: Shawn Michaels VS. CHRIS JERICHO [WRESTLEMANIA 19]

HBK's comeback after 4 years of back injury recuperation. And, man, HBK and Y2J exploded in a classical clash of two world-class wrestlers. Both man of similar, versatile wrestling style. 2 very similar and equal-skilled superstars come together to create an epic classic to be remembered for many decades ahead. Y2J's superkick is the icing on the cake in my opinion.

Many reversals were seen by the crowd in Seattle and they were utterly electrified by this awesome performance by two legendary wrestlers. Simply put, amazing. Just amazing. Whenever, I sees this match, I feel nostalgic and also sad. There won't be some thing like this frequently anymore. At least not in this rated-pg WWE. Not that the PG era does not produce more of this great matches, but too low frequency.
